How Do You Get 3D Graphics V2 In Game Dev Tycoon? [Solved]

The trick is this: Get 2D engine level 3 (you get level 2 automatically in the first Custom Engine), OR get 3D engine level 1. Then you just need to use it – I found “3D v1” to work fine with Casual hand-held games. You make 2 of those, until you level up 3D v1, and then you should get the option to research 3D v2.5 Sept 2013
