Most attacks have a damage cap of 9999. In the HD remaster, Eidolons can passively break the damage cap, seen especially with Bahamut ZERO’s Tera Flare. Triad Maneuvers and the Vermilion Bird spell can also deal over 9999 damage. Ultima is the only magic spell that can break the damage limit.
